New Garden Beds

1 - 2 lb per 100 sq ft

A conservative garden-bed range for granular humate products. Mix into the upper few inches of soil and water thoroughly. Use the lower end when compost and organic matter are already abundant.

Container Living Soil

About 2 TBSP per Cubic Foot

Use as a modest starting point in a new container mix, blending fully throughout the root zone. A cubic foot is approximately 7.5 gallons of soil. Reduce the rate if the actual product label calls for less.

Established Soil

Light Top-Dress or Water-In

Apply a light, evenly distributed top-dress and water it in, or follow the product label for a soluble application. Use small repeat applications only when needed instead of adding a large amount at once.
